Fortinet Firewall is missing one or more security-related updates.

Description

The version of FortiWeb installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the FG-IR-25-513 advisory.

 - An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in FortiWeb may allow an authenticated attacker to execute unauthorized code on the underlying system via crafted HTTP requests or CLI commands. (CVE-2025-58034)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to FortiWeb version 7.0.12, 7.2.12, 7.4.11, 7.6.6, or 8.0.2 or later.
