Synopsis

The remote FreeBSD host is missing one or more security-related updates.

Description

The version of FreeBSD installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 970159e6-ba60-11f0-8447-b42e991fc52e advisory.

 https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/SERVER-101230 reports:
 The KMIP response parser built into mongo binaries is overly tolerant of certain malformed packets, and may parse them into invalid objects. Later reads of this object can result in read access violations.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the FreeBSD security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
