Synopsis

The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 7.02, has libsoup packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- A use-after-free type vulnerability was found in libsoup, in the soup_message_headers_get_content_disposition() function. This flaw allows a malicious HTTP client to cause memory corruption in the libsoup server. (CVE-2025-32911)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL libsoup packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
