Description

The version of FreeBSD installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the aaa060af-88d6-11f0-a294-b0416f0c4c67 advisory.

We discovered a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the latest release of the Vieb browser (v12.3.0). By luring a user to visit a malicious website, an attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution on the victims machine.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the FreeBSD security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
