Synopsis

The remote FreeBSD host is missing one or more security-related updates.

Description

The version of FreeBSD installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 2a11aa1e-83c7-11f0-b6e5-4ccc6adda413 advisory.

 Andy Shaw reports:
 When passing values outside of the expected range to QColorTransferGenericFunction it can cause a denial of service, for example, this can happen when passing a specifically crafted ICC profile to QColorSpace::fromICCProfile.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the FreeBSD security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
