Synopsis

The remote FreeBSD host is missing one or more security-related updates.

Description

The version of FreeBSD installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 3e9406a7-685e-11f0-a12d-b42e991fc52e advisory.

[email protected] reports:
On arm64, a WASM `br_table` instruction with a lot of entries could lead to the label being too far from the instruction causing truncation and incorrect computation of the branch address.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the FreeBSD security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
