Synopsis

The SimpleHelp is affected by a cross-site request forgery vulnerability.

Description

The version of SimpleHelp running on the remote web server is prior to 5.5.11. It is, therefore, affected by a cross-site request forgery (XSRF) vulnerability. Note that this vulnerability can be used in conjunction with CVE-2025-36727 to fully compromise a target.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to SimpleHelp version 5.5.11 or later to address this issue
