Synopsis
The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by a vulnerability.Description
The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 7.02, has elfutils packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:- elfutils v0.189 was discovered to contain a NULL pointer dereference via the handle_verdef() function at readelf.c. (CVE-2024-25260)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
