Synopsis

The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 7.02, has jose packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- latchset jose through version 11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via a large p2c (aka PBES2 Count) value. (CVE-2023-50967)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL jose packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
