Synopsis

The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 7.02, has aspell packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- objstack in GNU Aspell 0.60.8 has a heap-based buffer overflow in acommon::ObjStack::dup_top (called from acommon::StringMap::add and acommon::Config::lookup_list). (CVE-2019-25051)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL aspell packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
