Synopsis
The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.Description
The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 7.02, has ImageMagick packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities:- A heap use-after-free flaw was found in coders/bmp.c in ImageMagick. (CVE-2023-5341)
- A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in coders/tiff.c in ImageMagick. This issue may allow a local attacker to trick the user into opening a specially crafted file, resulting in an application crash and denial of service. (CVE-2023-3428)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL ImageMagick packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.See Also
