Synopsis

The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 7.02, has yajl packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

 - There's a memory leak in yajl 2.1.0 with use of yajl_tree_parse function. which will cause out-of-memory in server and cause crash. (CVE-2023-33460)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL yajl packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
