Synopsis

The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 7.02, has gtk2 packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

 - A flaw was found in the GTK library. Under certain conditions, it is possible for a library to be injected into a GTK application from the current working directory. (CVE-2024-6655)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL gtk2 packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
