Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 4 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 4 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the TSSA-2024:0346 advisory.

 Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 4 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

 CVE-2023-6174:
 SSH dissector crash in Wireshark 4.0.0 to 4.0.10 allows denial of service via packet injection or crafted capture file

 CVE-2023-6175:
 A heap-based buffer overflow was found in Wireshark's NetScreen file parser. This issue may allow local arbitrary code execution via a crafted capture file.

 CVE-2024-0208:
 GVCP dissector crash in Wireshark 4.2.0, 4.0.0 to 4.0.11, and 3.6.0 to 3.6.19 allows denial of service via packet injection or crafted capture file

 CVE-2024-0209:
 IEEE 1609.2 dissector crash in Wireshark 4.2.0, 4.0.0 to 4.0.11, and 3.6.0 to 3.6.19 allows denial of service via packet injection or crafted capture file
