Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2024:1365-1 advisory.

- Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in Apache Commons Configuration.This issue affects Apache Commons Configuration: from 2.0 before 2.10.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.10.1, which fixes the issue. (CVE-2024-29131, CVE-2024-29133)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected apache-commons-configuration2 and / or apache-commons-configuration2-javadoc packages.
