The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES12 / SLES_SAP12 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2024:0983-1 advisory.

- plugins/gtk+/glade-gtk-box.c in GNOME Glade before 3.38.1 and 3.39.x before 3.40.0 mishandles widget rebuilding for GladeGtkBox, leading to a denial of service (application crash). (CVE-2020-36774)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
