Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to gnutls.

Description

The version of gnutls installed on the remote host is prior to 3.8.4. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SSA:2024-079-01 advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the affected gnutls package.
