Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2024:0901-1 advisory.

- An issue was discovered in compare_digest in Lib/hmac.py in Python through 3.9.1. Constant-time-defeating optimisations were possible in the accumulator variable in hmac.compare_digest. (CVE-2022-48566)
