The remote AlmaLinux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote AlmaLinux 8 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALSA-2024:0769 advisory.

 - Use after free in tcpslice triggers AddressSanitizer, no other confirmed impact. (CVE-2021-41043)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected tcpdump package.
