The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 / openSUSE 15 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2024:0323-1 advisory.

- Azure uAMQP is a general purpose C library for AMQP 1.0. The UAMQP library is used by several clients to implement AMQP protocol communication. When clients using this library receive a crafted binary type data, an integer overflow or wraparound or memory safety issue can occur and may cause remote code execution.
This vulnerability has been patched in release 2024-01-01. (CVE-2024-21646)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected python3-uamqp package.
