Synopsis

The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2024:0209-1 advisory.

 Security fixes:

 - CVE-2023-46589: Fixed HTTP request smuggling due to incorrect headers parsing. (bsc#1217649)

 Other fixes:

 - Streamline how patches are handled in the spec file of the package

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the SUSE security advisory.
