Synopsis
The remote Red Hat CoreOS host is missing a security update for OpenShift Container Platform 4.13.23.Description
The remote Red Hat Enterprise Linux CoreOS 4 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2023:7325 advisory.- The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023. (CVE-2023-44487)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
Update the RHCOS OpenShift Container Platform 4.13.23 packages based on the guidance in RHSA-2023:7325.See Also
