Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 / openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2023:4251-1 advisory.

- Buffer Overflow vulnerability in Vorbis-tools v.1.4.2 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code and cause a denial of service during the conversion of wav files to ogg files. (CVE-2023-43361)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Update the affected vorbis-tools and / or vorbis-tools-lang packages.
