Language:

Synopsis

The remote FreeBSD host is missing one or more security-related updates.

Description

The version of FreeBSD installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 8706e097-6db7-11ee-8744-080027f5fec9 advisory.

- Redis core team reports: The wrong order of listen(2) and chmod(2) calls creates a race condition that can be used by another process to bypass desired Unix socket permissions on startup. (CVE-2023-45145)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution
