Synopsis

The remote web server is affected by cross site scripting vulnerability.

Description

Cross Site Scripting vulnerability in jQuery before 3.5.0 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the <options> element.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to JQuery version 3.5.0 or later.
