Synopsis
The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.Description
The version of Cisco Unified Communications Manager installed on the remote host is prior to 12.5(1)SU8 or is version 14 prior to 14SU3. It is, therefore, affected by a denial-of-service vulnerability. Due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input to the web UI of the Self Care Portal, an authenticated remote attacker can send a malicious HTTP request causing a DoS condition on the affected device.Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
