Synopsis

An Active Directory auditing tool running on the remote host is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Description

The ManageEngine ADAudit Plus running on the remote host is prior to build 7100. It is, therefore affected by a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker can inject malicious Javascript into the username field of the product which will be executed when reports are loaded by an authorized user.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to ADAudit Plus build 7100 or later.
