Synopsis

The version of Apple iOS running on the mobile device is affected by multiple vulnerabilities, including the following:

 - An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. (CVE-2023-28181)

 - Processing an image may lead to arbitrary code execution. This buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. (CVE-2023-32384)

 - An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. This use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. (CVE-2023-32398)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

The version of Apple iOS running on the mobile device is prior to 15.7.6. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Solution

Upgrade to Apple iOS version 15.7.6 or later
