Synopsis

The remote openSUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote openSUSE 15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE- SU-2022:2752-1 advisory.

- This affects the package codecov before 2.0.16. The vulnerability occurs due to not sanitizing gcov arguments before being being provided to the popen method. (CVE-2019-10800)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected python2-codecov and / or python3-codecov packages.
