The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SUSE15 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the openSUSE-SU-2022:10242-1 advisory.

- Slixmpp before 1.8.3 lacks SSL Certificate hostname validation in XMLStream, allowing an attacker to pose as any server in the eyes of Slixmpp. (CVE-2022-45197)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected python3-slixmpp package.
