Synopsis

The remote host is affected by a key management error vulnerability.

Description

The remote host is running a version of FortiOS that is 6.4.9, 7.0.6, or 7.2.0. It is, therefore, affected by a key management error vulnerability. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, to to perform a man in the middle attack.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update FortiOS to version 6.4.10, 7.0.7, 7.2.2, or later.
