Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to vim.

Description

The version of vim installed on the remote host is prior to 9.0.0500. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SSA:2022-261-01 advisory.

- Heap-based Buffer Overflow in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.0483. (CVE-2022-3234)
