Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

The remote Debian 9 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the dla-3045 advisory.

- lib/Horde/Mime/Viewer/Ooo.php in Horde Mime_Viewer before 2.2.4 allows XSS via an OpenOffice document, leading to account takeover in Horde Groupware Webmail Edition. This occurs after XSLT rendering.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the php-horde-mime-viewer packages.

For Debian 9 Stretch, these problems have been fixed in version 2.2.1-1+deb9u1.
