The remote SUSE host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLED15 / SLED_SAP15 / SLES15 / SLES_SAP15 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2022:1829-1 advisory.

- Go before 1.17.10 and 1.18.x before 1.18.2 has Incorrect Privilege Assignment. When called with a non-zero flags parameter, the Faccessat function could incorrectly report that a file is accessible.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected go1.18, go1.18-doc and / or go1.18-race packages.
