Synopsis

The remote NewStart CGSL host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 6.02, has gssdp packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- The Open Connectivity Foundation UPnP specification before 2020-04-17 does not forbid the acceptance of a subscription request with a delivery URL on a different network segment than the fully qualified event- subscription URL, aka the CallStranger issue. (CVE-2020-12695)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL gssdp packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
