Synopsis

The remote AlmaLinux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote AlmaLinux 8 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALSA-2020:4469 advisory.

 - A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Catalina 10.15.4. An application may be able to gain elevated privileges. (CVE-2020-3898)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected cups-libs package.
