According to its self-reported version, Cisco FTD Software is affected by a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability in memory management due to improper resource management when connection rates are high. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, by opening a significant number of connections, in order to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition.Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
