The remote CentOS host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CESA-2021:4409 advisory.

- libgcrypt: mishandles ElGamal encryption because it lacks exponent blinding to address a side-channel attack against mpi_powm (CVE-2021-33560)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libgcrypt and / or libgcrypt-devel packages.
