Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco IOS XR is affected by multiple privilege escalation vulnerabilities due to insufficient validation of user input. An authenticated, local attacker can exploit these to gain root access to the system.
