The remote CentOS host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CESA-2021:2575 advisory.

 - lz4: memory corruption due to an integer overflow bug caused by memmove argument (CVE-2021-3520)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected lz4, lz4-devel and / or lz4-libs packages.
