Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco SD-WAN Viptela Software is affected by a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability due to the API not properly validating user-supplied input. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, by sending malicious input to the API, to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the web-based interface or access sensitive browser-based information.

Please see the included Cisco BIDs and Cisco Security Advisory for more information.

Solution

Upgrade to the relevant fixed version referenced in Cisco bug IDs CSCvu28350, CSCvx24115
