Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco SD-WAN Viptela Software is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability due to improper access controls on API endpoints when running in multi-tenant mode. An unauthenticated, adjacent attacker can exploit this, by sending a request to an affected API endpoint on the vManage system, to gain access to sensitive information that may include hashed credentials.

Please see the included Cisco BID and Cisco Security Advisory for more information.

Solution

Upgrade to the relevant fixed version referenced in Cisco bug ID CSCvu28372.
