medium Nessus Plugin ID 149238
New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)

Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it is different from CVSS.

Synopsis

The remote database server is affected by multiple vulnerabilities

Description

The version of MariaDB installed on the remote host is prior to 10.4.19. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the mariadb-10419-release-notes advisory.

- Vulnerability in the MySQL Server product of Oracle MySQL (component: Server: DML). Supported versions that are affected are 5.7.33 and prior. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server. (CVE-2021-2154)
