high Nessus Plugin ID 147762
New! Plugin Severity Now Using CVSS v3

The calculated severity for Plugins has been updated to use CVSS v3 by default. Plugins that do not have a CVSS v3 score will fall back to CVSS v2 for calculating severity. Severity display preferences can be toggled in the settings dropdown.

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

According to its self-reported version, Cisco SD-WAN vEdge routers are affected by a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability in the deep packet inspection (DPI) engine due to improper processing of FTP traffic. An unauthentiated, remote attacker can exploit this to cause a DoS condition.

Please see the included Cisco BIDs and Cisco Security Advisory for more information.

Upgrade to the relevant fixed version referenced in Cisco bug ID CSCvs72669.
