New! Plugin Severity Now Using CVSS v3

The calculated severity for Plugins has been updated to use CVSS v3 by default. Plugins that do not have a CVSS v3 score will fall back to CVSS v2 for calculating severity. Severity display preferences can be toggled in the settings dropdown.

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

The version of Cisco SD-WAN vManage installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the cisco-sa-vman-authorization-b-GUEpSLK advisory due to insufficient input validation for certain commands. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, by sending crafted requests to the affected commands, in order to bypass authorization checking and gain restricted access to the configuration information.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Upgrade to the relevant fixed version referenced in Cisco bug ID CSCvu28370
