Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version MAIN 6.02, has vim packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- In Vim before 8.1.0881, users can circumvent the rvim restricted mode and execute arbitrary OS commands via scripting interfaces (e.g., Python, Ruby, or Lua). (CVE-2019-20807)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL vim packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
