The remote machine is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version CORE 5.04 / MAIN 5.04, has libqb packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

 - libqb before 1.0.5 allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack, because it uses predictable filenames (under /dev/shm and /tmp) without O_EXCL. (CVE-2019-12779)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL libqb packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
