Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

A command injection vulnerability exists in Cisco DNA Spaces Connector due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the web-based management interface. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, by sending crafted HTTP requests to the web-based management interface, to execute arbitrary commands on the underling operating system with privileges of the web-based management application.

Upgrade to the relevant fixed version referenced in Cisco bug ID CSCvv25495
