New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)
Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it's different from CVSS.

SynopsisThe remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch
DescriptionAccording to its self-reported version, Cisco IOS XE is affected by a packet filtering bypass vulnerability.
The vulnerability is due to improper traffic filtering conditions on an affected device. An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious TCP packet with specific characteristics and sending it to a targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass the L3 and L4 traffic filters and inject an arbitrary packet into the network.
