Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA) is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability in the web-based management interface, due to insufficient validation of requests sent to it. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, by sending specially crafted requests, to disclose potentially sensitive information.
